As part of its continued expansion, Amba Defence is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Supervisor, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Candidates must be able to provide a ten year, checkable work or education history and pass a police check to fulfil the accreditation and audit requirements of our regulatory body.

From within our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), we deliver robust, real-time monitoring services for all kinds of clients. While we primarily monitor CCTV and security systems, our software also allows us to monitor many other alarms, for example environmental, lone workers and satellite asset tracking systems.

About the Role

Working in our newly furbished Remote Video Receiving Centre (RVRC) using the latest monitoring software and equipment you will be responsible for handling alerts received from clients sites to ensure no breach in security is present.

You will be trained deal with any situation and take the appropriate action - be that giving audio warnings, dispatching a mobile patrol or calling the police. Duties also include dealing with customer service calls, liaising with clients and maintaining good paperwork in accordance with our ISO 9001 and SafeContactor audit processes.

To complement our technology we have a team of trained and professional controllers to offer you advice or deal with any issue that you may have.

  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Adaptable to learning new software programmes with good computer skills
  • Experience of public facing customer service roles
