Control Centre Operator

Control Centre Operator required.

Amba Defence Global is a leading security and defence consultancy based in the heart of the Cotswolds and due to ongoing success and growth we are now seeking additional Control Centre Operators to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be based in and around the Broadway area.

Set in the picturesque Farncombe Estate in Broadway, Amba Defence Global works with a wide range of clients including governments, commercial companies and high net-worth individuals in order to implement strategies that protect assets and reduce operational risks.

Control Centre Operator Position Overview

The ideal candidate will work within our Alarm Receiving Centre and will be responsible for providing a real time monitoring services for our client base. As a a Control Centre Operator you will be required to monitor various security systems and respond to all incoming alerts in a proactive manner.

The successful Control Centre Operator will also follow strict protocols in order to maintain the security of client sites and will accurately record incidents and events using specific software. 

As a 24 hour, 365 days a year operation you will be required to work both day and night shifts in a rotating shift pattern in order ensure the smooth running of the control room. 

Control Centre Operator Requirements

  • Ability to liaise confidently with clients & External Engineers
  • Computer literate and ability to pick up new computer systems 
  • Willing to work a mixture of day and night shifts with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service position would be beneficial
  • Ability to think and respond proactively to incoming alerts
  • Based in a commutable distance of Broadway

Control Centre Operator  Position Remuneration 

  • Salary Circa £18,000 (Dependent upon experience)
  • 20 days holiday
  • Overtime available

Service Engineer

Service Engineer required.

Amba Defence Global is a leading security and defence consultancy based in the heart of the Cotswolds and due to ongoing success and growth we are now seeking a Service Engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal Service Engineer will be based in and around the Coventry area.

Set in the picturesque Farncombe Estate in Broadway,  Amba Defence Global works with a wide range of clients including governments, commercial companies and high net-worth individuals in order to implement strategies that protect assets and reduce operational risks.

Service Engineer Position Overview

The ideal Service Engineer will work in a multi disciplined role and be responsible for carrying out a range of pre planned and reactive maintenance of intruder alarm, fire alarm & IP CCTV systems at various client sites.  

The successful Service Engineer will ideally have experience gained from a similar previous position and will also be responsible for carrying out new system installations as required. 

It is also expected that as part of the role the Service Engineer will directly liaise with clients in order to resolve queries quickly and effectively in person and over the phone. 

This position would suit an experienced candidate who is seeking an opportunity to work for a growing company in a static based engineering position.

Service Engineer Requirements

  • Ability to liaise confidently with clients
  • Strong knowledge of IP CCTV, Intruder alarms and Access Controls
  • Experience of servicing and commissioning security systems
  • Computer literate and ability to pick up new systems 
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Electrical qualifications, such as an NVQ level 2 or above in electrical installation, or 17th edition wiring regulations highly advantageous
  • Must also be willing to undergo a full security and credit check, due to the nature of the role

Finance Administrator / Assistant Finance Manager

Finance Administrator / Assistant Finance Manager required. 

Amba Defence Global is a leading security and defence consultancy based in the heart of the Cotswolds. Due to our continued growth we are now seeking a Finance Administrator / Assistant Finance Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be based in and around the Broadway area.

Set in the picturesque Farncombe Estate in Broadway, Amba Defence Global works with a wide range of clients including governments, commercial companies and high net-worth individuals in order to implement strategies that protect assets and reduce operational risks.

The ideal candidate will work closely alongside the Finance Director and be responsible for a range of finance and accounting duties including the production of month end P&L and balance sheet reports. You will be required to chase outstanding invoices, reconcile accounts and manage weekly payment runs for supplier invoices.

The successful Finance Administrator / Assistant Finance Manager will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience gained from a previous finance role along with experience of Xero accounting software and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. 

This is a part time position with flexibility around the needs of the successful candidate.  

Finance Administrator / Assistant Finance Manager Position Overview

  • Credit Control
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Submit HMRC / VAT returns, PAYE etc.
  • Manage weekly payment runs for supplier invoices
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • In-house spreadsheet management
  • Answering telephone calls and resolving queries

Finance Administrator / Assistant Finance Manager Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' accounts / credit control experience
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software
  • Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Based locally to Broadway
  • Part-time position - flexible hours.
  • AAT or equivalent qualification would be a distinct advantage
