Amba was approached by a high end Audio Visual company from London to support them with a HNW client based in the Cotswolds.

The project consisted of a highly private estate amidst its land and it required a security management and monitoring plan that has been delivered by the team at Amba. As part of the project we were asked to design, implement, project manage, installation and commission a high end discreet buried cable detection system.

Perimeter Intruder Detection Systems (PIDS) are a key component of the security strategy for a high security site which is not located in the public domain. The Perimeter Intruder Detection System allows us to monitor the site extremities as part of a deter, detect, delay and deny strategy.

Our project team carefully reviewed a number of manufacturers for this sensitive and highly important site and shortlisted two suppliers for the project, Southwest Microwave were awarded the contract to supply the equipment to our installation and project team. Amba attended a number of partner workshops and Southwest Microwave supported the design, implementation of the project from start to finish.

The project was by no means easy with underground waterways, parkland and the sympathetic redevelopment of the site to understand. Due to the complexity of the site the project overrun but it could not be rushed. The ground has now settled and the solution has disappeared into the landscape making it the most discrete solution of all and one Amba are incredibly proud of.

Like most of our work at Amba we can’t really give too much information on specific projects so unfortunately we cannot show you any pictures of the Parkland setting that this solution is settled in, safely say the garden wraps nicely around a very advanced buried perimeter detection system thats is providing one element of a carefully design integrated security solution.
